Dutch hamradio station in a bookbinding workshop

    Always under construction

This site is about my ham radio stuff. In the early 70ties I was learning morse code to become a Radio Officer in the merchant marine. I quit the merchant marine in 1979 and started working in a library. There I came in contact with bookbinding. To keep the story short I became a bookbinder and later a book conservator. In 1984 I opened my bookbinding workshop in which I had a shortwave listening station on the workbench. In the late 90ties I met a guy who studied with me in the same morse class. It was he who send me to school in order to become a ham radio operator.

I don't collect QSL-cards but will respond to all cards I receive.
